Ambulance and SUV Collide on Grand Ave in Palisades Park, NJ

Palisades Park, NJ (September 27, 2026) – A man reported neck and back pain Saturday night, September 26, after an ambulance collided with a Toyota Highlander on Grand Avenue in Palisades Park.

The crash occurred around 10:06 p.m. as the ambulance was traveling south on Grand Avenue. It collided with the Highlander as the SUV was crossing from West Palisade Avenue.

The force of the collision split a utility pole in front of The Marlborough House condominiums and severely damaged a nearby fire hydrant. Shrubs were also damaged, while the Highlander struck a retaining wall across the street.

The Highlander driver reported neck and back pain following the crash.

Palisades Park police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
