Authorities are investigating what led to the crash.
We extend our sincere condolences to the motorcyclist’s family and loved ones.

If another person’s actions caused the crash, your family may have grounds for a wrongful death claim. However, the involvement of three vehicles does not automatically mean any particular driver was responsible for what happened.
After losing a loved one, your family may struggle without the financial support and everyday help they provided. Losing someone who helped with childcare, transportation, or household responsibilities can make an already difficult time even harder.
To prepare the claim, gather the crash report, death certificate, and any available photographs or video. You should also keep financial records and other documents showing the income and support your loved one provided before the crash.
Under New Jersey law, families generally have two years from the date of death to file a wrongful death lawsuit. Missing this deadline could prevent your family from pursuing a claim, so taking action within the required time is important.
During the claims process, a wrongful death lawyer can investigate how the crash happened and identify the parties who may be responsible. An attorney can also communicate with insurance companies on your family’s behalf and handle disputes that arise.
