NJ Transit Bus and Utility Truck Crash Hurts Nine at Morris Ave in Union, NJ

Union, NJ (May 29, 2026) – Nine people were hurt on Tuesday morning, May 26, after a NJ Transit bus collided with a PSE&G line truck at Morris Avenue and Spruce Street in Union. The crash happened around 9:15 a.m.

The bus was operating on the 114 line between Port Authority Bus Terminal and Bridgewater Mall, and had 25 passengers on board at the time of the collision. The bus driver and eight passengers were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There are no details about the PSE&G truck driver's condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Union Police.
