First responders found both motorcycle occupants in the roadway with serious injuries. They were reported to be in critical but stable condition. The driver of the sedan was not injured.

What Should Motorcycle Riders Do After a Crash in Gloucester Township, NJ?

After a motorcycle crash in Gloucester Township, NJ, injured riders should seek medical attention, report the collision, document available evidence, and preserve information about insurance coverage.

Evidence preservation can be particularly useful because motorcycle crashes can cause serious injuries even in situations that seem simple at first.

Roadway evidence, police reports, witness statements, medical records, photos of the motorcycle and other vehicles, and available surveillance footage can all be used to determine how the crash happened and record the losses that followed.

Along with preserving evidence, riders should keep detailed records throughout the recovery process. Hospital visits, medications, rehabilitation, motorcycle repairs, towing costs, transportation expenses, and income lost because of the crash may all become relevant when evaluating a potential claim.

As the claims process moves forward, questions may arise about fault, available insurance coverage, or the losses that can be included in a claim. Reviewing the available records may help clarify these issues and provide a clearer picture of the circumstances surrounding the crash.

An attorney can review the circumstances of the New Jersey motorcycle crash, explain applicable insurance rules, assist with preserving evidence, communicate with insurance providers, and help evaluate a potential personal injury claim.
