Ocean County, NJ (August 14, 2026) – Multiple people were injured in a serious multi-vehicle crash that closed the southbound Garden State Parkway at Exit 82 in Ocean County.
The crash prompted a full closure of Parkway South at Exit 82 on Thursday afternoon, August 13. Traffic backed up for more than 10 miles as the closure affected motorists traveling through the area.
The New Jersey Police did not provide any information on the total number of people hurt, the severity of their injuries, or details about the vehicles involved.
