Plainfield, NJ (June 26, 2026) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision on Friday afternoon, June 26, at the intersection of Liberty Street and West 2nd Street, with airbags deploying in at least one car.

The wreck was reported around 2:44 p.m., according to Union County Fire. Fire crews responded and carried out a rescue at the scene.
